GraphiCore Presents alongside Createc New Graphite Decommissioning Strategies at IAEA Conference in Vienna

Riccardo Chebac, CEO and co-founder of GraphiCore, took part in the INGSM25 conference at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) headquarters in Vienna this week, presenting joint work developed together with UK-based technology company Createc.
The collaboration focuses on new strategies for graphite dismantling that combine robotics and artificial intelligence, aiming to improve safety and efficiency while reducing the time and resources required for decommissioning operations. The conference brought together leading voices in nuclear waste management and decommissioning, with sessions organized by Professor Anthony Wickham and led by Richard Harris (NRS). GraphiCore highlighted the partnership with Createc as a key step toward shaping the future of graphite reactor decommissioning, building on a shared commitment to developing solutions with long-term impact across the industry.
